My artistic practice is based around the various ways of creating different kinds of narratives within the film and video media. Often combined with props- and costume making as a tool for meaning and content, I aim to create new sensorial experiences as well as to explore various subject matters ranging from the personal and subjective experience to the more concrete or abstract. I am interested in the physical and phenomenological relation between the human body and our surroundings, and particularly in themes relating to femininity and womanhood. I am drawn to all that opposes the normative or exists on the threshold between realities. This includes the surreal and dreamlike which often manifests itself in my work.
